BIOGRAPHY

Izzy Hodge is an Artist/Illustrator and storyteller who graduated from Northumbria University in 2013 with a first class honours degree in Graphic Design, specialising in Illustration. Through acknowledgement of the success at degree level was the opportunity to attend the D&AD New Blood awards for her children’s book; “Counting with Curious Creatures” where she was approached by various prestigious design companies and publishers including representatives from Penguin and Random House. Izzy currently lives in her home town of Pateley Bridge in North Yorkshire and is working alongside bestselling Illustrator/Artist, Alister Colley (Zeitgeist Fine Art), to publish the collection of her latest work; “Tremendous Tails of Travellers Trails,” while also continuing to work on her latest picture book - "Lola Lurking in the Lilypads" and various other projects with the aim to further develop her portfolio.

Izzy plays the piano, sings, and likes to think that she can play the guitar. She is hugely influenced by all aspects of music not only playing but all aspects of live music, festivals and writing/recording. In her spare time she likes dress making, fashion/costume in general, and tootling around the rolling Yorkshire hills on a gazelle bicycle. She also enjoys running and high impact fitness classes and has taken part in the odd cross country event.
